As I mentioned in my previous post we have been busy in the past few months with chores in and around our home but in between I did manage to be creative. These are all my craft creations from September. I like making the greeting cards and those little paper craft items, and this time I also managed to make a little paper craft item for Christmas. You can see all the images of my work when you follow the link below.
The past months you have seen several creations made with a sketch to work from, well it’s that time again, this time we had to use a star and washi tape.
But first I want to wish everybody a happy new year, I hope this year will bring you all good health, joy and happiness.
Also I want to thank you all for visiting my blog and website the past year.
The card I made for this week is easy to make so even a beginner can make it, apart from looking for all the materials so the colours matched it only took me about half an hour.
I used an off white bases card from 15 x 10,5 cm with a white mat, 14,5×10 cm on top. On this mat I added the washi tapes according the pattern of the sketch
I have build the star with several layers of teal mirror and silver glitter card stock, I have cut every size of the star twice and stacked them all together to create a nice and full star which I then glued on top of the washi tape I taped on the white mat.

I used a suitcase label tag made from craft paper with in the centre an off white card which I sponged around the edges with Walnut Stain ink. With the same ink I gave it a few coffee stains using a stencil. Glued a few pieces of a newspaper on it in a few places to give the tag a bit more body. By that time I didn’t know how to continue so I left it for a day or so.
After a day or so I decided to stamp and cut out the little girl, coloured her in with watercolour brush markers by putting the colour on a laminated white sheet first and picking up the colour with a brush. …
